Once again it is encouraging to witness the large number of junior players developing across the grades ably supported by more senior players, making such depth and impact for any Donny team. This progression is serving the club well and the 2012 results emphasize this. It was great to see three sides playing in finals in 2012 with the Women’s Premier League losing in the preliminary final for the second time in three years. The Women's Premier League side is now on the verge of a golden era provided the team continues its dedication to training and each other.
The 2013 season promises to be a big year for the Doncaster Women's section, as we are inching closer to that elusive Premier League flag and becoming once again the top women's section in Victoria.
