Women's & Girls' Round 10-16 May and Lots On

There is lots on and we'd love you to join us

Doncaster Hockey Club is excited to be celebrating HV Women’s & Girls’ Round 10th -16th May and we would like to invite all members to join in.

Women’s Round aims to celebrate contributions and achievements by Women & Girls at our Club.

In addition, DHC will be turning PINK, by conducting a number of events which aim to open our doors to the community, raise vital awareness and funds for families that are affected by a breast cancer.

Below are some of the planned events:

  • Trainings- teams to wear Pink and take a photo to post on Facebook
  • Matches- wear Pink Ribbons/armbands or purchase pink socks from Just Hockey
  • Saturday 12th May- home games for Womens Premier League ad Reserves
  • Opportunities to donate in the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) fundraising tins
  • Invite opposition teams to a PINK afternoon tea
  • Tuesday 15th May, 6-8pm -Team Night for Under 12, 14, 16 girls teams, fun games, meet PL players and hear from the Butterfly Foundation, body image experts, on how to stay happy, confident and healthy
  • PL & Reserve players to cheer on the junior girl teams at home on 18 May
  • Pink cake stall- proceeds go to BCNA
  • Pink decorations at the club

GIRLS NIGHT IN - Tuesday 15 May

The GIRLS NIGHT IN aims to build relationships between girls from across the Club, create a sense of belonging and tips on how to ‘Be the best version of you’. We hope all players will attend.



  • Fun games in teams,
  • Meet some Donny Premier League players
  • Hear from the Butterfly Foundation, body image experts, on how to stay happy, confident and healthy
  • Dinner provided

 WHO:             Under 12, 14 & 16 players

WHEN:            TUESDAY 15th MAY

TIME:              6PM-8PM

COST:             FREE (but you must register, just below, for catering purposes)

WEAR:            A touch of PINK
