Plenty on at Doncaster

The formal start to the Junior Winter Season is still a while away but there is plenty on for Doncaster’s Juniors right now.

Here are some important dates:

• Hook in2 Hockey (H2H) free Come ‘n’ Try Day - Saturday 9^th February 10am – 11am

• H2H weekly – Wednesdays – 13^th February- 27^th March 4:45 -5:30pm

• U12 Full Field Transition – Wednesday 6^th, 13^th, 20^th & 27^th February 5:30-6:30pm

• Social Summer 6’s - U14s & U16’s – Tuesday 5^th, 12^th, 19^th & 26^th February 5-7pm

• Preseason Training for Winter 2019 Season for U10's to U18’s commences week of 4^th March

U10 Monday 4:45-5:45pm & Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm
U12 Monday 5:45-6:45pm & Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm
U14 Tuesday 5-6pm & Thursday 5-6pm
U16 Tuesday 6-7:15pm & Thursday 6-7:15pm (transition to seniors may result in changed times)

• Preseason Training Minkey (5-6yrs) & U8 (7-8yrs) commences Wednesday 3^rd April 4:15 -5pm

• Round 1 of the Junior Season will commence 3^rd and 4^th May 2019.  This is a week later than usual as April is Easter/School Holidays/Anzac Day in quick succession.

Important 2019 Information:

U16 Transition to Seniors Program

Top age U16 Girls and Boys and U18 players are most welcome to train with Seniors preseason from December 2018 to March 2019 if they desire to do so.

Registration

Please ensure you Register to be eligible to participate in programs and to play in 2019.  You must be registered to be covered for insurances.

Registration and payment of Hockey Victoria/Hockey Australia & DHC Membership and fees and all programs remain via Team App.  Full details of the Doncaster Registration are available here.

Junior Winter 2019 Confirmation

This year we are once again asking all players under the age of 18 to confirm their return to the Junior Winter Season by completing Junior Winter 2019 Confirmation form by Saturday February 9^th.

This will assist our Year Level Coordinators and ensure we enter the correct number of teams to Hockey Victoria by mid February.

The Club understands the importance of VCE studies and the struggle at times to balance hockey and the number of training sessions.  This form provides an opportunity to tick whether you are in this situation, so we can assist players to manage their hockey time with their studies and transition to Seniors.
