Doncaster will be conducting a number of Junior Programs during February 2019, these Programs are designed to help our younger players take their next step up on the hockey journey.  

Programs include:

• Hookin2Hockey
• Under 12 Full field Transition
• Hockey 6's (for Under 14 & 16 players)
• Specific Skill Clinics (limited spaces)

NB: All players should register for their Hockey Victoria/Hockey Australia membership at the same time to ensure that you are covered for insurance.

The following Programs cross a range of Junior ages:

U12 Full Pitch Transition
Aim:	To introduce players to the full pitch structure
Who:	U10 & U12 players who played half field competition in 2018, or any player aiming to play full field Under 12 in 2019
Dates:	Wednesdays 6,13,20,27 February 2019
Time:	6pm to 7pm
Cost:	$40 - Registraion via TeamApp, register by Friday 1 February

 

Social Summer 6’s
Aim:	To enjoy a social 6-a-side competition and practice playing hockey before the start pre-season
Who:	U14 and U16 players of all levels (If we have sufficient girls we can do a only girls competition and a mixed/boys comp)
Structure:	¼ field games, 2 x 20min halves, teams of 6
Dates:	Tuesdays 5,12,19,26 February 2019
Time:	5pm to 7pm (finish time depending on numbers)
Cost:	$40 - Registration via TeamApp, register by Friday 8 February

 

H2H
Aim:	Introduction of hockey to new junior players in a fun environment whilst learning the basics of hockey
Who:	Ages 5-12 years
Dates:	Come 'n' Try Day Saturday 9th February 10am-12noon then Wednesday 13th February-27th March @4.45pm-5.30pm
Cost:	$100 new players (includes H2H playing kit) $50 for continuing players

Skills Clinics
Aim:	Specific skill development sessions
Structure:	2 time slots, limited spots, first in best dressed:    5 – 6pm:  max.30 players U12 and U14    6 – 7pm:  max 30 players U14 and U16
Coaches:	Premier League players or coaches with specialist skill sets

PROCESS TO REGISTER USING TeamApp:

1. Download TeamApp onto your mobile devise through the apps store
2. Search for Doncaster Hockey Club and click SIGN UP 
3. Click on HV membership Tab to pay HV/Hockey Australia fees
4. Click on FEES & MERCHANDISE to register with DHC February programs
