Outside the Locker Room with Jake Edwards

Doncaster Hockey Club has been lucky enough again to have Jake Edwards (ex AFL player and founder of Outside the Locker Room) to come and present a workshop on mental health.

Jake presented a different session to the club last year, and the feedback we received from 2017 was exceptional.

You can see Jake’s website on the following link: http://www.outsidethelockerroom.com.au/

Jake tells a powerful story of his own journey with depression, anxiety and addiction.

The people who particiapte in the session will take away tools of how to deal with mental health and how to support people with mental health issues.

Jake’s story covers all aspects of resilience, persistence and adversity while ensuring that each person will leave inspired, driven and focussed.

We suggest this as a not to be missed event and strongly recommend all senior, masters and Under 16 players and parents, coaches and administrators attend.
