2018 ANZAC Day Cup

2018 ANZAC Day will see Doncaster v Essendon in the fifth ANZAC Day Cup, this year at Doncaster.  This has become an outstanding day on a number of levels and a real highlight of the season.  The ANZAC Day Cup is all about the Hockey Community joining together to honour our past and present service men and women on this most important National day.  The hockey is a great way to pay tribute to all those who have served in the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces.

Doncaster’s and Essendon’s ANZAC Day Cup matches are the third match of the Premier League season which means our Premier League teams will not be playing on Saturday 21 April but the following Wednesday, ANZAC Day.

This is an outstanding way for the hockey community to mark ANZAC Day, so come along, remember and thank our troops and then watch our players take on Essendon for the fifth ANZAC Day Cup.
