Junior Summer Hockey 2017-18
The Junior Section of the Doncaster Hockey Club is running a range of summer hockey programmes that are specifically designed to cater for all levels of junior hockey, from beginners of all ages to representative players.
Hook in2 Hockey
Designed specifically for young players 5-10 years old, who have not played hockey before. This program consists of the 8 week Hookin2 Hockey program. More information on H2H program click here.
Summer Hockey
Junior Summer Interclub at KBH (Elgar Park)
When: Wednesdays 18th Oct to 13th Dec at Elgar Park,
What: Mixed comp 5-a-side, quarter field using sideboards. 4 pitches/16 teams with KBH. (no GKs).
Who:
U10 6-7pm
U12, & U(14+16) 6-7pm or 7-8pm
Cost: Cost $90 approx.
Why: Casual inter-club competition, ideal for U10,12, 14, & 16’s who have played 1 winter season and wishing to continue to develop their skills and play juniors in 2018.
Dates: 18th, 25th October, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th November, 6th, 13th December 2017.
Girls And Women's Summer
When: Tuesday nights from 7pm onwards. 11 Oct to 15 Nov (6 week program due to ground replacement).
What: Women's and girls half field. Ideal for girls playing U14, U16, U18 & seniors in 2018, those returning to the game or those wishing to start!
Cost: $60 approx.
Why: Fun, Social hockey, Ideal introduction to women's senior hockey or those wanting to maintain hockey skills over summer.

Umpire Development
The Summer Hockey Program is an ideal opportunity for young players (boys and girls) to develop their umpiring skills in a non-competitive environment.
Players will be mentored during the small sided games and can work towards the Community (Level 0) accreditation. This development is aimed at players who have played hockey for a minimum of 2 years. To register your interest to umpire email Andrea Snow andrea.snow@doncasterhockeyclub.com.au
